Visualization Is Used To Manifest Your Goals and Desires
Visualization is an important step in the process of manifesting your goals and desires. At its highest and most powerful level, it is God's attribute and Power of Sight acting in the mind of humans. Every thought and concept has a picture. Steps in using Visualization to Create and Manifest: 1) Determine the goal or desire that you wish to bring into form. 2) Examine its merit and worthiness for expending your time and effort on. Make sure that you are not benefiting at the expense of others. 3) Write it out in physical words for added strength and definition. 4) Picture it, knowing that it is the Sight of God that sees and sees perfection. 5) Read your desire many times throughout the day and especially at bedtime before you go to sleep, so that it can settle fully upon your consciousness. 6) Read it and see it throughout the day, knowing that you are seeing perfection and using the power of God within you. 7) Don't tell anyone -- hold it within you as a sacred seed that God is growing. 8) Feel your desire deeply within you. 9) Know that God is the Doer, the Doing, and the Deed of every constructive action that has been set forth into manifestation. Work only with the Law of Oneness, and do not allow anything of a human quality that could oppose it. 10) Surrender it to God to be brought forth and don't take it back into your own hands. By taking it back into your own hands you will short circuit the process, which could delay it or prevent it from coming into form, as it becomes subject to human time and space... (steps summarized from I Am book, Unveiled Mysteries, pp 101 - 106 published by the Saint Germain Foundation) A popular movie, The Secret, has swept across our nations to inspire people hungry to apply the principles of manifesting wealth, etc. into their lives. This show uses Vision Boards to bring the image into a form that you can have in front of you and see often. Also it emphasizes the passion and feeling necessary to bring a desire into manifestation. Your heart and mind need to be in alignment to bring forth the desired result. For many years I have had a great respect for the ability to visualize. As a Reading Specialist, I have recognized its tremendous importance in a student's ability to comprehend what their reading or being read to. I have also recognized that the skill of visualization is more important than teaching early reading. Its long term benefits far outweigh the benefits of early reading, which can interfere in the process of establishing foundations in visualization. As a teacher in Waldorf Schools I could see how storytelling really helped children to grow their skills in visualization. It was closely connected with their imagination and their creative abilities. I became more involved in performing the subtle puppetry, characteristic of Waldorf Schools that was rich in imagery and yet so gentle, that children could extend the images through their own imaginations. What a wonderful tool for helping to nurture the art and skill of visualization. As an adult, in the past 10 years, I have developed my personal visualization abilities through dream work, in which I would go to sleep with a question on my mind that I would write out in a journal book. Then in the night, and often in the morning I would receive a dream with images and symbols that I'd try to interpret in relation to my question. It was a great exercise in developing the inner sight of the third eye and sixth chakra. I used it for inner reflection, insight and healing.
